Privacy notice

Last updated: 1 November 2026

Short version: this website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ads or third-party scripts. If you sign up, we keep your email address to send you the free coloring pages and Ollie Ocean's newsletter, until you unsubscribe. We never sell or share it.

Who we are

soltales.com is the website of Ollie Ocean, the pen name under which Atelier Apps (SIREN 102258092, France) publishes the Three Paws picture books. Atelier Apps is the controller of your personal data. Contact: hello@soltales.com.

What we collect, and why

When you sign up: your email address, the date and time you signed up and confirmed, the version of the consent wording you agreed to, and which free download you asked for. We use these to send you the coloring pages and the Ollie Ocean newsletter (new Three Paws books, free activity pages, occasional behind-the-scenes notes), and to be able to show that you agreed. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

About our emails: we've switched off open and click tracking, so our emails don't record whether you open them or which links you click. EmailOctopus, our email service, only keeps what it needs to deliver them: whether each email was delivered or bounced, and unsubscribes.

When you visit: no cookies, no analytics, no ads, and no fonts or scripts from other companies. Cloudflare, which hosts this site, processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse, and keeps short technical logs for a few days. The signup form uses your IP address for a moment to block repeated automated attempts; it isn't stored with your signup.

We only ever ask for an email address. We don't ask for names, ages or anything about your children.

Who handles your data for us

EmailOctopus (Code Computerlove Ltd, United Kingdom) stores the mailing list and sends our emails. The United Kingdom has an EU adequacy decision.
Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) hosts this website. Transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your address is used only for Ollie Ocean emails. We never sell it, share it, or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe (there's a link in every email) or ask us to delete it. Sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted within 90 days.

Children

This website and the newsletter are for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children. If you think a child has given us their email address, write to hello@soltales.com and we'll delete it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a copy. You can withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing or by writing to us; this doesn't affect emails sent before. To use any of these rights, write to hello@soltales.com. You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL, or to the authority where you live.

Changes

If this notice changes, we'll update the date at the top. We'll email subscribers before any change in how we use their address.
