About Ollie Ocean
Ollie Ocean writes the Three Paws picture books: stories about friendship for children aged 4 to 8, made to be read aloud, with plenty of gentle humor.
The Three Paws books
The books follow three friends from the village of Willowbrook: Niko, a Cocker Spaniel with very floppy ears; Luna, a young owl; and Shelly, a squirrel who always has a plan. Niko tells each story himself.
Every book is made with the grown-up reading it in mind as well as the child listening: short pages, a line to join in with, a few new words explained by the pictures, and real-world facts that are checked before they go in.
The first book, Three Paws: How We Met, is coming soon in paperback. You can meet Niko, Luna and Shelly here first.
Where the characters come from
The real Niko is the author's own Cocker Spaniel, and the real Luna is the author's daughter.
